The Sûr Referral Network
As a mutual aid cooperative, our growth relies entirely on our membership. When you help expand the network, you earn a perpetual dividend on the activity you generate.
How to Refer a New Member
Sûr is a private network, meaning new members can only join if invited by someone already inside the club.
- During your initial onboarding, you will be assigned a unique Sûr User ID.
- This ID serves as your personal referral code.
- Simply give this ID to any potential driver or rider. When they enter it during their sign-up process, their account is permanently linked to your referral tree.
The Perpetual Payout Structure
Instead of a one-time sign-up bonus, Sûr rewards you for the ongoing health of the network. Every single time someone in your referral tree completes a Sûr ride — whether they are the driver or the rider — a micro-dividend is instantly earned.
The payout cascades through the network, decreasing by a factor of two (halving) for each degree of separation:
To minimize gas fees, bonuses will only be paid in even dollar amounts. However, because Sûr operates on the blockchain, these transactions happen instantly and incur zero settlement fees. Every time your network moves, you earn.
Active Participation Requirements
This network exists to benefit active participants, not passive extractors. To continue accumulating and claiming your network referral bonuses, you must fulfill the following two requirements:
- Good Standing: You must remain a registered member of the Sûr cooperative without any account suspensions or violations of the Terms of Mutual Aid.
- Minimum Usage: You must personally participate in a minimum of five (5) Sûr rides per calendar year. You can fulfill this quota either by riding as a passenger or driving as an operator.
If you fail to meet the yearly ride quota, you will no longer be eligible to receive referral bonuses for such period of time while the quota remains unfilfilled.
